The problem with Act of Valor is that after I saw the trailer in theaters a few months ago I immediately had to yell out loud:

"SPONSORED BY THE US ARMY"

Good ol' army propaganda. :p

i guess it started out as a recruitment video and turned into a motion picture

Acting was a little awkward at times but the action made up for it
